Program Coordinators for Multiple Programs
APCC is seeking motivated Program Coordinators for the following programs:
Promised Leaders of Tomorrow (PLOT) Youth Program- helps at-risk, low-income Asia Pacific youth overcome barriers and graduate. We provide school-based activities, mentorship, cultural connections, and wraparound services to guide them toward success in school and life.
Mental Health Program - This program focuses on the Asia Pacific community, connecting people with culturally relevant mental health education and resources, and providing mental health therapy and counseling. This program works to remove the stigma to accessing care, promote mental health literacy and awareness, and connect people with Asia Pacific licensed mental health professionals.
Business & Community Engagement Services (BCES) Program- Provide outreach, linguistically and culturally appropriate communications, resources, and support for the Asia Pacific community. This program supports entrepreneurs and smalls businesses with navigation and offers culturally and linguistically relevant assistance and other business support services. This program also supports our Seniors Services, which brings in different cultural groups of seniors to participate in weekly gatherings and activities that ehances their well-being and quality of life.
Culture & Arts Program- Activates arts and cultural practices as tools for identity, expression, and civic participation through demonstrations, workshops, presentations, events, and more. This program plans events, activities, and cultural experiences that contribute to a deeper understanding of ourselves and others, and as a result, foster connections that strengthen communities.
Position Summary:Program Coordinators are responsible for planning, implementing, and supporting assigned APCC programs. This role works closely with staff, partners, and participants to ensure effective, culturally responsive services aligned with APCC’s goals and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate program activities, events, and schedules
Support participant outreach, engagement, and retention
Maintain program documentation and assist with reporting
Collaborate with community partners and APCC staff
Represent APCC at meetings and events
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience in community, nonprofit, or program coordination work
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work with diverse populations
Basic computer proficiency
Preferred:
Experience coordinating programs related to youth, mental health, education, culture, or arts
Knowledge of culturally responsive or community-centered programming
Bilingual or multilingual skills (speak Asian or Pacific Islander languages a plus)
Experience with outreach, event planning, or case coordination
Compensation & Benefits
Salary ranges from $42,000 to $45,000 (compensation based on experience and program funding)
