January 13, 2023. It wasn't clean, but it sure was a lot of fun. We had a full house at our Clay Art Workshop by Variya Tosti, APCC's cultural assistant and amazing Clay Art designer of over 15 years. Find her at our New Year Celebration doing hands-on demonstrations at the Tacoma Dome Exhibition hall, on February 15, 2023.
Variya taught the many participants how to mold their clay into beautiful pieces of art. A brief history of Thailand and its culture was presented. APCC's cultural team was in full force, helping and engaging with everyone. It was hard to tell who was having more fun - the adults, the children, and even the cultural team were busy making awesome creations. We even saw the Loch Ness Monster.
The pieces will be fired and ready for Part two of this workshop where the participants will color and finish up their creations.
